Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan kenobi

Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan kenobi

This is product number 37169/33097 it is recommended for ages 3-6. Made by Hasbro for their Playskool Heroes line.

The box has an interesting open style, allowing the customer to touch the figures before opening the package.
Included are three items, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon's coat.

Qui-Gon Jinn

We begin with Qui-Gon Jinn who has "standard Playskool Heroes articulation", he has rotating head and wrists, Ball jointed shoulders and his legs move together.

Qui-Gon Jinn's left hand is in a grasp pose, its expertly designed to fit most Playskool Heroes accessories including those of the rescue bots human characters and Marvel Spider-man Adventures.

His right hand holds a green beamed lightsaber, this weapon does not detach from his hand.

OQui-Gon's feet have two holes, these holes seem a little smaller than the Marvel figures ones, but can still peg onto Marvel equipment.

Qui-Gon Jinn's coat is made of material and can be removed, here we see him without his hooded coat.

As you can see the coat can be worn by many Playskool Heroes figures. Here we have, from left to right, Billy Blastoff, Spider-Man and a different Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Now on to Obi-Wan Kenobi. He has "standard Playskool Heroes articulation".

Obi-Wan's left hand is a standard Playskool heroes grasping hand.

His right hand holds a blue beamed lightsaber.

I really wish the feet holes were universal through the whole Playskool Heroes line.

My figure is on the left, the image on the right is from the box. The pony tail of the hair is shorter on my figure. I think this may be a design change rather than my figure being broken.
Does your figure have the longer hair?

We have different versions of Obi-Wan kenobi. From left to right they are The figure from this package, the Commander Cody package figure, and the figure from Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter.

For such small figures their pose-ability is amazing.

These figures come highly recommended.

The package also come with a "tear away character card".

This card and the others i have are a few millimetres over 2 inches tall and a few millimetres over 1 and 1/2 inches wide.

Chief Charlie Burns and Rescue Cutter

Chief Charlie Burns and Rescue Cutter

This is product number 33046/33043 it is recommended for ages 3-6. Made by Hasbro for their Playskool Heroes line.

The box has the usual open style, allowing the customer to touch the figures before opening the package.
Included are two pieces, Chief Charlie Burns and Rescue Cutter. Now being Transformers i am not sure if Rescue Cutter is simply a transforming machine or an intelligent robot named Rescue Cutter, that is a transformer. I shall assume Rescue Cutter is in the same category as the targetmasters or arms microns but you please yourself.  Chief Charlie Burns stands just over two and a half inches tall.

Chief Charlie Burns

We will start with Chief Charlie Burns. He has standard Playskool Heroes articulation, which means he has rotating head and wrists, Ball jointed shoulders and his legs move together.

Chief Charlie Burns hands have the usual Playskool Heroes grasping mold. Which allows him to hold onto Rescue Cutter with both hands.

He doesn't look much like he does in the Television show but he does look cool with his Autobot cap.

He has black rescue boots, he has a peg hole in the bottom of each foot, that allows him to peg into Playskool Heroes Rescue Bots accessories, such as Rescue Cutter. However the holes in his feet are too large for the Marvel equipment pegs, making the two lines sadly incompatible.

Chief Charlie Burns fits in well with Obi-Wan and Spider-Man, they seem to be in scale.

Rescue Cutter

Now on to Rescue Cutter. He isnt really a figure and so doesn't really have articulation. His scissor blades do move via switchs and his wheels do roll.

Here we see Rescue Cutter with Chief Burns for size comparison.

Pressing the yellow tab moves a blade, both blades can be moved in and out.

Rescue Cutter has two steering handles that most Playskool griping hands can securely hold onto.

The peg on Rescue Cutter plugs nicely into Rescue Bots human figures feet.

Rescue Cutter can transform into this.

These are his instructions from the box.

Based on the box picture it seems he transforms into Optimus Primes metal cutters (tin snips).

Chief Charlie Burns can use Jet Pack while Billy Blastoff can ride along with Rescue Cutter, as they are fully compatible.

Here Chief Charlie Burns rescues Doc Ock from a life of crime.

Foot holes and Pegs:

The information below is based on the figures and accessories have, i will update this information if i discover exceptions to this.If you have additional information, please feel free to comment.

Rescue Bots foot holes are far too large for Marvel accessory (Goblin Flyer) foot pegs.

Jedi Force Foot holes (this one from Obi-Wan) are too small for Rescue Bots pegs.

Marvel foot holes (this one from Green Goblin) are far too small for Rescue Bot foot Pegs.

Spider-Man and Doc Ock

Spider-Man and Doc Ock

This is product number 37931 it is recommended for ages 3-6. Made by Hasbro for their Playskool Heroes line.

The box has an interesting open style, allowing the customer to touch the figures before opening the package.
Included are two pieces, Spider-Man and Doc Ock, being a shorted version of Doctor Octopus name.

Spider-Man

We will start with Spider-Man. He standard Playskool Heroes articulation;  rotating head and wrists, Ball jointed shoulders and his legs move together.

Spider-Mans left hand is in the typical web shooter pose.

Spider-Mans right hand is in a grasp pose, looks like its designed to fit most Playskool Heroes accessories including those of the Rescue Bots human characters and Jedi Force.

The head sculpt is very nice and looks unmistakably like Spider-Man. He has his iconic black Spider-Man logo on the front of his costume.

He also has the Spider-Man logo on his back.

He has no webbing markings on his costume and has extra holes in the bottom of his feet. These holes seem to contain some metal and make his feet slightly uneven. I do not know what these holes are for, do you?

Doc Ock Spider-Man                                Green Goblin Spider-Man

On the left we see this Spider-Man with the Green Goblins Spider-Man on the right.

Doc Ock

Now on to Doc Ock. He has rotating head and wrists, Ball jointed shoulders and his legs move together, in other words he has "standard Playskool Heroes articulation".

Both Doc Ock's hands are in the grasping pose, like Spider-Mans right hand. This looks like its designed to fit most Playskool Heroes accessories including those of the Jedi Force and rescue bots human characters.

The Doc's extra tentacle arms are not pose able but are of a moveable plastic, they spring back into position when released though.

The face is nice and he is unmistakable as Doctor Octopus.

Doc Ock has the standard Playskool Heroes peg holes in his feet, making him compatible with most Playskool Heroes accessories, but not Rescue Bot pegs.

These great figures are good for display as well as play.

 Spider-Man vs Doc Ock.

The figures also come with a little card on the front of the packaging.

The Rescue Bots, Jedi Force and Spider-Man Adventures cards are the same size and shape.
