Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan kenobi

Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan kenobi

This is product number 37169/33097 it is recommended for ages 3-6. Made by Hasbro for their Playskool Heroes line.

The box has an interesting open style, allowing the customer to touch the figures before opening the package.
Included are three items, Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon's coat.

Qui-Gon Jinn

We begin with Qui-Gon Jinn who has "standard Playskool Heroes articulation", he has rotating head and wrists, Ball jointed shoulders and his legs move together.

Qui-Gon Jinn's left hand is in a grasp pose, its expertly designed to fit most Playskool Heroes accessories including those of the rescue bots human characters and Marvel Spider-man Adventures.

His right hand holds a green beamed lightsaber, this weapon does not detach from his hand.

OQui-Gon's feet have two holes, these holes seem a little smaller than the Marvel figures ones, but can still peg onto Marvel equipment.

Qui-Gon Jinn's coat is made of material and can be removed, here we see him without his hooded coat.

As you can see the coat can be worn by many Playskool Heroes figures. Here we have, from left to right, Billy Blastoff, Spider-Man and a different Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Now on to Obi-Wan Kenobi. He has "standard Playskool Heroes articulation".

Obi-Wan's left hand is a standard Playskool heroes grasping hand.

His right hand holds a blue beamed lightsaber.

I really wish the feet holes were universal through the whole Playskool Heroes line.

My figure is on the left, the image on the right is from the box. The pony tail of the hair is shorter on my figure. I think this may be a design change rather than my figure being broken.
Does your figure have the longer hair?

We have different versions of Obi-Wan kenobi. From left to right they are The figure from this package, the Commander Cody package figure, and the figure from Obi-Wan's Jedi Starfighter.

For such small figures their pose-ability is amazing.

These figures come highly recommended.

The package also come with a "tear away character card".

This card and the others i have are a few millimetres over 2 inches tall and a few millimetres over 1 and 1/2 inches wide.

Spider-man and Green Goblin

Spider-Man and Green Goblin

This is product number 37930 it is recommended for ages 3-6. Made by Hasbro for their Playskool Heroes line.

The box has an interesting open style, allowing the customer to touch the figures before opening the package.
Included are three pieces, Spider-Man, Green Goblin and the Goblin Flyer.

Spider-Man stands just on 2 1/2 inches tall while The Green Goblin stands just over 2 1/2 inches tall when not on his Glider.

Spider-Man

We will start with Spider-Man. He has rotating head and wrists, Ball jointed shoulders and his legs move together.

Spider-Mans left hand is in the typical web shooter pose.

Spider-Mans right hand is in a grasp pose, looks like its designed to fit most Playskool Heroes accessories including those of the Rescue Bots human characters.

The head sculpt is very nice and looks unmistakably like Spider-Man.

He has his iconic black Spider-Man logo on the front of his costume.

He also has the Spider-Man logo on his back.

He has nice webbing markings on his costume and also has extra holes in the bottom of his feet. These holes seem to contain some metal, and make his feet not level.  i do not know what these holes are for, do you?

 Doc Ock Spider-Man                            This Spider-Man

Its great that the characters are different in these different sets.

Green Goblin

Now on to Green Goblin. He has rotating head and wrists, Ball jointed shoulders and his legs move together, we will call this "standard Playskool Heroes articulation".

Green Goblins left hand  like Spider-Mans right hand is in a grasp pose, this looks like its designed to fit most Playskool Heroes accessories including those of the rescue bots human characters.

Green Goblins right hand holds one of his "Pumkin bombs". The bomb in the shape of a pumpkin has a lovely toofy smile. This is attached to his hand and can not be removed.

The head sculpt is very nice and looks unquestionably the Green Goblin.

Green Goblin has a nice "man bag", or shoulder bag.

His costume has a cross-cross of scaled armoured pattern.

Green Goblin has the standard Playskool Heroes peg holes in his feet, making him compatible with most Playskool Heroes accessories. Spider-Man also has these holes though he has additional holes as well.

The Rescue Bots sub line of Playskool Heroes inexplicably has a larger hole in the foot and a thicker peg in the accessories, making them sadly incompatible.

This pack also comes with the Goblin Flyer, though the set does not name it. This is a flying platform used by the Green Goblin.
The accessory has a foot peg that is compatible with both Spider-Man and Green Goblin. It is over 1 1/2 inches long and has 2 1/2 inch wingspan, it stands about 1/2 and inch tall.

Here is Green Goblin on his Goblin Flyer.

Spider-Man and Green Goblin are old rivals.

They have been fighting for many years.

They are reasonably matched in battle.

Spider-Man and Green Goblin are also friends.

The figures also come with a little card on the front of the packaging.
