Mission series: Death Star Chewbacca and Han Solo

MS07 Chewbacca and Han Solo

The Mission Series: Death Star two pack comes with Chewbacca and Han Solo.

These figures are made by Hasbro.

The packaging is collector friendly in that the figures can sometimes be removed and returned without damaging the packaging.

There are two figures in the pack, each is 3 3/4 scale and has five points of articulation like the old Kenner Star Wars figures of my youth.

Chewbacca

We will start with Chewbacca, he looks good, definitely a more detailed sculpt than his original figure.

He stands well and has his traditional "man bag".

His hair is very nicely detailed. The paint isnt too bad at all, except for the teeth perhaps.

He does not come with a stand unfortunately. But he stands well enough on his own on those bigfeet...

His weapon will need some assembly and glue if you want it to stay together. An adult should do this before the small pieces are lost.

His hands are specifically molded for his weapon which means he has trouble holding anything else and everyone else has trouble using his accessory.

Han Solo

Now for the other figure who is supposed to be Han Solo, but kind of looks like His grandfather.

His legs are a little spindly and he does like to fall over a little, a stand would have helped.

Those boots are quite the statement, very shinny and rubbery looking.

He is the largest buckle award holder three years in a row.

Flying a spaceship can be hairdressing, My figure has a white patch out of the butt of his pants. Very unfortunate.

He only has one small weapon.

Unfortunately his wizened old hands are sculpted to hold his weapon specifically and have trouble holding other accessory's.

Scale:

Both figures are 3 3/4 scale, though Chewbacca towers over Hans, and that is how it should be.

They fit in alright with the ReAction figures by Funko and Super 7, though their facial sculpts are much more realistically detailed.

Marvel's Hawkeye Build your Mashers Figure

Hawkeye

Hawkeye is an ordinary human with no superpowers, he has some skill with the bow and uses many gadget arrows.

Marvel's Hawkeye is number: A6826/A6825 of the Make Your Mashers, Marvel Super Hero Mashers line of toys.

In the box, you can see the gimmick of the toy.

He can even stand right out of the box.

He looks good and to me looks like A Ultimate Spider-man version of Hawkeye.

Mashers have these ports or holes all over the body so that accessories can be added.

Hawkeyes head is removable and looks ok, i personally prefer the Avengers Assemble costume.

Here he is devoid of limbs and head.

His left arm is an open grip hand which can easily hold his bow.

His right arm has a closed fist with a hole that is about the same size as the other ports.

His upper thigh or leg has the same port.

His lower leg or foot has a port and a ball joint ankle which aids in standing the figure.

He has the same body (except for right hand) as Spider-man. The paint is enough to differentiate the two figures.

His only accessory is his bow, it can fit in his left hand, or any figures "open grip hand". It is a good representation of a bow and looks fine.

Marvels Hawkeye is a part of Marvel make your mashers wave one, along with Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and Captain America.

We can see here Captain Americas Shield can fit easily into Hawkeye's slot.

Hawkeye is a good large toy and comes highly recommended for play.

Hawkeye also looks fine as a display piece.

Mashing!

Here we have an armored up Hawkeye, using some of Doctor Dooms components.

Spider-Man uses some of Hawkeye's components to create an alternate black costume.

Hawkeye gets overly patriotic using Captain Americas components and accessories.
