Chief Charlie Burns and Rescue Cutter
This is product number 33046/33043 it is recommended for ages 3-6. Made by Hasbro for their Playskool Heroes line.
Included are two pieces, Chief Charlie Burns and Rescue Cutter. Now being Transformers i am not sure if Rescue Cutter is simply a transforming machine or an intelligent robot named Rescue Cutter, that is a transformer. I shall assume Rescue Cutter is in the same category as the targetmasters or arms microns but you please yourself. Chief Charlie Burns stands just over two and a half inches tall.
Chief Charlie Burns
We will start with Chief Charlie Burns. He has standard
Playskool Heroes articulation, which means he has rotating head and wrists, Ball
jointed shoulders and his legs move together.
Chief Charlie Burns hands have the usual Playskool Heroes grasping mold. Which allows him to hold onto Rescue Cutter with both hands.
He doesn't look much like he does in the Television show but he does look cool with his Autobot cap.
He has black rescue boots, he has a peg hole in the bottom of each foot, that allows him to peg into Playskool Heroes Rescue Bots accessories, such as Rescue Cutter. However the holes in his feet are too large for the Marvel equipment pegs, making the two lines sadly incompatible.
Chief Charlie Burns fits in well with Obi-Wan and Spider-Man, they seem to be in scale.
Rescue Cutter
Here we see Rescue Cutter with Chief Burns for size comparison.
Pressing the yellow tab moves a blade, both blades can be moved in and out.
Rescue Cutter has two steering handles that most Playskool griping hands can securely hold onto.
The peg on Rescue Cutter plugs nicely into Rescue Bots human figures feet.
Rescue Cutter can transform into this.
These are his instructions from the box.
Based on the box picture it seems he transforms into Optimus Primes metal cutters (tin snips).
Chief Charlie Burns can use Jet Pack while Billy Blastoff can ride along with Rescue Cutter, as they are fully compatible.
Here Chief Charlie Burns rescues Doc Ock from a life of crime.
Foot holes and Pegs:
The information below is based on the figures and accessories have, i will update this information if i discover exceptions to this.If you have additional information, please feel free to comment.
Rescue Bots foot holes are far too large for Marvel accessory (Goblin Flyer) foot pegs.
Jedi Force Foot holes (this one from Obi-Wan) are too small for Rescue Bots pegs.
